Azamara is unveiling 85 new cruises aboard its four-ship fleet for the October 2028-May 2029 season, with itineraries exploring 81 countries and 210 port calls, 94 overnight stays, and upward of 200 late-night departures.
“These newly announced cruises reflect what makes Azamara so special, allowing guests to go beyond the expected and experience destinations in a more meaningful way,” said Azamara Head of Itinerary Planning Mike Pawlus.
Africa and Indian Ocean
“We’re especially excited to offer guests more opportunities to explore Africa and the Indian Ocean, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, with itineraries featuring destinations such as Western Australia and the Kimberley Coast,” Pawlus added. “From rare port calls to extended stays that allow travelers to connect with local culture, these itineraries are designed to make every destination an integral part of the journey.”
In all, Azamara Onward will explore 27 countries, with itineraries including South Africa, East Africa and West Africa. “A standout highlight is Jamestown, Saint Helena, a remote island in the South Atlantic with a rich history, including its association with Napoleon Bonaparte's exile,” Azamara said.
