Are you a college football fan? Southwest Airlines has you covered.
Southwest announced new flights from Oklahoma City and Atlanta to Los Angeles just in time for New Year's Day kickoff and one of college football's biggest games of the year.
The Oklahoma Sooners will play the Georgia Bulldogs in their College Football Playoff semifinal as part of the 104th Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. As a result of the demand from fans of both schools, Southwest added more nonstop flight options to get to the game.
"These additional flights will make it easier for so many of our customers and college football fans to see their teams battle it out on the gridiron," Southwest senior director of schedule planning Brook Sorem said in a statement. "If you're traveling on game day, make sure to bring your own Wi-Fi enabled device to tune in to our free live TV available via onboard entertainment portal to cheer on your team."
