Southwest Airlines has extended its bookable flight schedule through February 2027, with plans to fly between 3,100 and 4,300 trips daily based on winter demand.
The Dallas-based low-cost carrier, which recently debuted in Alaska, plans to return 28 routes to its network on a seasonal basis and will add some new flights for travelers looking to visit warm-weather destinations in Florida, California and the Caribbean.
Southwest continues to expand its footprint at Orlando International Airport, with up to 203 departures on high-demand Saturdays scheduled through the first two months of 2027.
The airline's expanded schedule also includes first-time service between Nashville and Liberia, Costa Rica, as well as Columbus, Ohio, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Southwest is also bringing back service connecting Music City and San Jose, Costa Rica; Pittsburgh and Cancun and Indianapolis and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In the meantime, the airline is adding flights for this month's 2026 FIFA World Cup.
