Somebody is stealing money from the bank accounts of passengers from ill-fated Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which veered dramatically off-course on March 8 and has yet to be found.
According to published reports, more than $33,000 (in U.S. dollars) has been stolen from passengers who are presumed dead on the missing flight, which took off in Kuala Lumpur and was heading to Beijing. A Kuala Lumpur bank reported withdrawals from three of the passengers' accounts that were put into the account of a fourth passenger from the flight.
The lump total in the fourth passenger's account was then withdrawn from several automated teller machines in the area on or about July 18.
