Intense crosswinds led to a dramatic moment at Austria's Salzburg Airport Sunday.
Concerned onlookers captured video of an Enter Air Boeing 737 tilting from side to side and bouncing off the runway before pilots ultimately aborted the landing.
The flight eventually landed safely in Frankfurt, Germany, where it originated. No injuries were reported.
At least one passenger recorded the tense touch-and-go landing from inside the cabin.
The Polish charter airline cited the windy conditions for the incident and credited its pilots for following protocol.
"The hurricane wind at Salzburg was very strong and when the aircraft received [a] strong gust of wind, pilots acted quickly according to procedures and aborted landing," Enter Air said in a statement to Fox News. "Polish pilots are very well trained for such weather conditions."
According to Mashable, windstorm Herwart brought winds in excess of 100 mph to parts of central Europe over the weekend.
