Chances are fairly great that if you are flying into Phoenix on business you are staying in the beautiful and sophisticated city of Scottsdale.
And that is where we are headed for our latest Business Casual articles-previous cities include London, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
Now we know you are in the area to field meetings and lunch with clients, but there is undoubtedly a moment for you to steal for yourself.
Here are some suggestions if you are in the area and have an hour or more to really savor all that Scottsdale has to offer.

We are presuming that you are in Scottsdale, perhaps at one of two well-regarded resorts: The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa or the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

Whether staying here or not, you can still enjoy all the comes with a round of golf here, which just might be a ride on a golfboard If you so choose.

If you are into spa treatments and myriad food options then you will be well taken care of with a stay at this resort.
But perhaps your conference is just a tad further. That's just fine, because Scottsdale boasts a lot more. Although, we should probably mention its crown jewel that you may be dying to play.
TPC Scotttsdale:
Beauty is quite easy to find in the desert.
TPC Scottsdale remains a Phoenix area treasure, serving as host to the annual Phoenix Open.
As you have seen on TV, its lush grounds are really quite remarkable. And if you have the means and the time, it's calling.
ArtWalk:
You will be happy to know that a bit further south you'll find a weekly art walk that highlights all the resplendent art that is bursting from the area. The best part is the Thursday jaunt is free.
Soleri Bridge:
And if art and function is your thing, then the nearby Soleri Bridge is a must see.
Taliesin West:
Enjoy the serenity, simplicity and overt beauty at the former home of iconic architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

Now there is still plenty else to do in the area, such as hiking, biking and other more adventurous experiences.
This was just a brief glimpse at what you might do when you are hampered by time and an exhausting itinerary.
