Another year and thousands of miles later and we've arrived at the end of 2019. Celebrities, like so many of us, are looking ahead to 2020 but doing so with an eye on where they've been this past year.

Thanks to their social media accounts, we were again afforded a snapshot of the high life. Thankfully, so many of these exotic places don't have to be. They can be familiar locales if we just say "yes" to travel in the next decade and beyond.

So let's see where the famous suggest we visit next.

Miley Cyrus - Utah and Arizona

You don't have to travel far to find your next relaxing respite. Popstar Miley Cyrus posted a few images of a breathtaking sojourn to various places in Utah and Arizona this past September, such as Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon and Utah's Zion National Park. As the Arizona Republic explains, it was a perfectly timed getaway at that.

Gwyneth Paltrow - Maldives

Soon there will be a lot of ringing in of respective New Year's. The most important part of that equation is where you choose to do the ringing. Gwyneth Paltrow kicked off 2019 amid the beauty of the Maldives last year. If you do the same this time around, consider one of their newer properties.

Cindy Crawford - Portugal

The uber-famous model found herself away from home a bunch this past year. But something tells me Portugal and places like Lisbon and Sintra left an indelible mark. It's easy to discover the magic yourself too.
