Blazing fast Wi-Fi service and a slew of other amenities have propelled Virgin America to the front of the pack when it comes to the best domestic airline for business travel.
Fortune and Travel + Leisure unveiled the results of their second annual Best in Business Travel survey this week, with readers voting Virgin the ideal U.S. carrier for the working traveler based on a handful of factors, including customer service, frequent flier programs, in-flight class experience and airport lounges.
Virgin recently launched satellite Wi-Fi on 10 of its new Airbus A320s, an undeniable perk for business travelers, but also boasts a top-flight frequent flier program in addition to features like on-demand food ordering and a luxurious first class cabin experience.
Trailing Virgin in 2015's overall rankings are Alaska Airlines and JetBlue Airways. The former was recognized by readers for having the best frequent flier program and alliances.
Delta Air Lines and budger carrier Southwest Airlines rounded out the top five.
On top of taking home the overall crown, Virgin finished atop both the best customer service and best economy and premium cconomy in-flight experience categories.
Meanwhile, readers determined that Delta's Sky Club is the best domestic airport lounge, beating out American Airlines' Admirals Club and United Airlines' United Club.
Despite just cracking the top five this year, Southwest ranked third overall in best customer service and second in best frequent flier program and alliances.
Delta, United and American ranked first, second and third in the category of best business and first class in-flight experience, respectively.
