Today, CroisiEurope is unveiling its newest riverboat-the RV Indochine II-in Phnom Penh, Cambodia which will sail along the increasingly popular Mekong River.
The 62-guest, 29-crew vessel features 31 194-square-foot cabins with 43 square-foot-balconies, an atrium, restaurant, observation lounge bar and upper deck with outside bar, lounge and pool. Massage services are also available on the main deck.
Measuring in at just 213 feet long and 43 feet wide with a shallow 3.2-foot draft, the ship is capable of navigating longer on the Tonle Sap Lake. It was designed by Stirling Design International in Nantes, France, with structural assistance from Ship-ST, and built at Vietnamese shipyards, in collaboration with SDI in Nantes.
Thibaut Tincelin directed the project led by Patrick Schmitter while safety consultant Bureau Veritas certified it as a passenger ship.
Indochine II's exterior design takes cues from Mekong commercial fleets accented with red Vietnamese wood. Its interior is more French in nature blending contemporary and traditional for a so-called "neo-colonial" look.

Guests will be well looked after on the luxury ship by the Cambodian staff and French cruise director as it sails between Saigon (Vietnam) and Siem Reap (Cambodia) via Phnom Penh and vice versa from August to April.
All visits are included and highlights include the ruins in Angkor, Tonle Sap Lake and Ho Chi Minh City. Guests will also enjoy international and regional cuisine and complimentary beverages during meals plus others throughout the day.
The Indochine II is the only cruise ship that is capable of docking in the middle of Saigon with pedestrian access to the city center. The vessel will also showcase Phnom Penh, Mekong Delta fish farms and the Cho Gao canal.
