If you’ve always dreamed of visiting the Galapagos Islands, now’s your chance: HX (formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions) is offering 'buy one, get one free' cruises to this bucket-list destination.
Today, the cruise line is launching its “Explore the Extraordinary” sale, which runs through March 31. In addition to the BOGO Galapagos trips, the promotion also includes discounts of up to 40 percent off select sailings to destinations like Alaska, Antarctica and Greenland through 2025.
HX has long been known for its polar expedition voyages, but the cruise line is also becoming a major player in the Galapagos Islands, particularly among families. During the sale, all Galapagos itineraries aboard the MS Santa Cruz II departing between April 27 and September 25 are 'buy one, get one free.'
The discount applies to the second fare after booking the first at full price. Choose from sailings like the 9-day “In Darwin’s Footsteps” itinerary or the 11-day “Nine of the Best Isles” cruise.
Want to explore another part of the world? HX is also offering big discounts on expedition cruises around the world as part of the sale, including its popular 12-day “Highlights of Antarctica” sailing and its 26-day “Antarctica, Patagonia & Chilean Fjords Expedition” voyage.
Travel advisors can also get in on the action: Every booking travel advisors make between now and March 31 gives them a chance to win a FAM trip to the Galapagos Islands. HX will pick the winners at random to travel in 2024—more than 100 spots are available for travel advisors.
