James Rodriguez, a key executive for Oceania Cruises since its founding, has returned as chief marketing officer for Prestige Cruise Holdings, which also includes Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
He departed Prestige Nov. 21 after it was acquired by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH). He had served many of his 12 years as senior vice president of sales and marketing at Oceania.
Since then, Kevin Sheehan, the CEO of NCLH, abruptly resigned and was replaced by Frank Del Rio, who was CEO of Prestige and the co-founder of Oceania.
"My temporary retirement was short-lived," Rodriguez wrote on Facebook. "I am excited to announce my return to Prestige Cruise Holdings as the Chief Marketing Officer for Regent and Oceania Cruises. Feels good to be back home with the team."
