In 2017, Regent Seven Seas Cruises will have been operating its brand of luxury voyages for an impressive quarter of a century, and it is preparing a yearlong fleet-wide series of events to celebrate, appropriately punctuated with 25 special sailings.
"It was May 26, 1992 when the twin-hull, 19,000-ton, 354-passenger Radisson Diamond was christened officially launching what would become Regent Seven Seas Cruises," said Jason Montague, president and chief executive officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

"Every day since that day 25-years ago, we have listened to the needs of our guests, evolved and enriched the experience onboard our ships, invested in new ships and luxurious enhancements to our existing ships and transformed Regent Seven Seas Cruises into the preeminent choice when it comes to luxury cruising."
Aboard each of the 25 anniversary cruises, guests will have an opportunity to partake in a fresh dining concept: a sea-day galley lunch buffet in the Compass Rose restaurant. A red carpet will lead to the kitchen for the chance to interact with the chefs and enjoy baked breads, a turkey carving station, made-to-order pasta and other hot dishes like regional fresh fish, salmon, lamb curry and Zurich-style veal. Delectable desserts will then be waiting in the dining room itself.
Continuing the culinary theme, there will also be Silver Anniversary Tastings on the 25 sailings. Above and beyond the availability of all-inclusive drinks will be special wine, whiskey and cocktail tasting seminars showcasing exclusive vintages and premium spirits.

Plus, anniversary sailing guests will be gifted a Commemorative Pin, and Regent passengers will also have the chance to win a free cruise on the latest Seven Seas Explorer by participating in a sweepstakes running until Dec. 22, 2016. Guests are encouraged to share their favorite cruise moments on the Regent25.com microsite and engage on social media - Facebook, Instagram and Twitter - where the sweepstakes can be found.
Additionally aboard the 25 special sailings, Regent will be doubling the Ambassador Offer. Previous passengers who refer a guest cruising for their first time on Regent will get a $400 per suite onboard credit, and the referred will also receive the perk.
