Royal Caribbean To Feature ‘Back to the Future: The Musical’ Aboard Newest Ship

In anticipation of the ninth annual Back to the Future Day on October 21, Royal Caribbean International has revealed that Back to the Future: The Musical will be the flagship stage production on its newest cruise ship, Star of the Seas, which is scheduled to launch in August 2025. 

The entertainment team at Royal Caribbean is collaborating closely with the original creative team behind the musical to adapt it for the Royal Theater aboard Star of the Seas. Following two successful weeks of auditions held in London and New York City, the cast and crew are eager to kick off rehearsals in the coming year.

Star of the Seas promises to be a game-changer in the cruise industry, featuring an unprecedented array of experiences. From the exhilarating adventures to be found at Thrill Island to the laid-back relaxation zones available at Chill Island and the exclusive Suite Neighborhood, guests will find plenty of options to suit their vacation style.

When it debuts, Star of the Seas will embark on seven-night voyages from Port Canaveral near Orlando, Florida to enviable destinations like the award-winning Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, ensuring guests create unforgettable memories on their journeys.
