In commemoration of the nation’s 250th anniversary and Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours’ 40th anniversary, the company unveiled the “Chairman’s Voyage: 250th Anniversary Cruise” aboard Scenic Eclipse, which will call at ports along the eastern seaboard that played crucial roles in U.S. history.
“Unlike traditional anniversary celebrations focused on a single city or event, this voyage connects guests to multiple chapters of America’s history,” Scenic said. “Travelers will explore destinations linked to the Revolutionary War, the birth of American independence, maritime heritage, and the cultural traditions that continue to shape the nation today.”
The itinerary, which will be hosted by Scenic Founder and Chairman Glen Moroney, will depart from New York on Oct. 5 and conclude in Nassau on Oct. 16, with port calls in Baltimore; Yorktown, Va.; Wilmington Del.; Charleston, S.C.; Miami; and Key West, Fla.
“America’s 250th anniversary is a moment to reflect on the people, places and events that shaped our country,” said Ken Muskat, president, Scenic Group USA & LATAM. “This Chairman’s Voyage offers guests an extraordinary opportunity to experience that history firsthand while sailing aboard Scenic Eclipse, The World’s First Discovery Yacht.”
“From iconic cities to pivotal historic destinations, this journey combines immersive exploration, storytelling and ultra-luxury in a way that only Scenic can deliver,” he added.
