The Bahamas and Jamaica are improving connectivity with new flights set to launch early next year.
This week, Aeromexico announced it will fly nonstop from Mexico City to Nassau, Bahamas and Montego Bay, Jamaica, beginning in March 2027.
Subject to government approvals, the flights will operate on 166-seat Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with service to Montego Bay starting on March, 18, 2027, followed by Nassau on March 19, 2027.
Both routes will operate three times weekly. Flights between Mexico City and Nassau will operate Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while flights between the Mexican capital and Montego Bay will operate Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
The flights are scheduled to depart Mexico City shortly after 9 a.m. local time, landing in the Caribbean in the afternoon, with return flights taking off an hour and 15 minutes later to land back in Mexico City by dinner time.
"The addition of The Bahamas and Jamaica to our Caribbean network reflects our commitment to offering customers more world-class leisure destinations," Giancarlo Mulinelli, Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Aeromexico, said in a statement.
"These new routes will give our passengers direct access to an extraordinary blend of tourism, gastronomy and cultural experiences, while we strengthen our connectivity from Mexico City," he added.
