No doubt, an island getaway to the "Land of Wood and Water," Jamaica, provides plenty of gorgeous insta-moments for budding photogs as well as social media pros.

Cruise passengers, however, who are challenged with a strict "all aboard" deadline, might have a little less time for aimless meandering and just hoping to come across photo nirvana.

If you're all about "getting right to the good stuff" in your photographic endeavors, the Jamaica Tourist Board has provided a handy guide of some of the nation's top spots to appear on social media.

"Jamaica's allure is unparalleled and we love sharing this charm and natural beauty with visitors who come to our shores," said Donnie Dawson, Jamaica's Acting Director of Tourism. "In an era where social media plays an important part in promoting and marketing a destination, we are excited that these locations provide a glimpse into the island's magical and authentic beauty."

Kingston

Bob Marley Museum

The home of reggae legend Bob Marley is now a museum dedicated to his memory. Take the hour-long tour (Mondays through Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) to snap pictures of artifacts from and exhibits about his life. Don't miss an exterior shot of the building, with its Rastafarian flags and life-size statue dedicated to Marley.

Devon House

The home of Jamaica's first black millionaire, George Stiebel, the Devon House mansion was built in 1891. Gorgeous photo views start at the front lawn, but you won't want to miss a snap of Devon House I-Scream, which was voted as the fourth-best place on earth for ice cream by National Geographic.

Montego Bay

Martha Brae River Rafting

Think you're up for a scenic ride on a 30-foot handmade bamboo raft? A trained "Raft Captain" will guide you upstream through the lush Jamaica countryside, but you'll have your turn steering the raft as well.

Doctor's Cave Beach

Bathing in the waters at Doctor's Cave Beach is said to have remarkable healing powers. Whether or not it cures what ails you remains to be seen, but remember to snap on a special protective cover and capture the amazingly clear waters from below the surface as well.

Ocho Rios

Island Gully Falls

Whether you're looking for a romantic smooch with a loved one or some gentle, adrenaline-laced activities, Island Gully Falls provides the perfect backdrop. And think of the likes you'll generate when you tell friends and fans, "why, yes, that is me doing a cliff dive."

Mystic Mountain

Bobsleds aren't just for Jamaican Olympians anymore. Modeled after the famous Jamaican bobsled team, the Rainforest Bobsled Jamaica at Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios is powered strictly by gravity. Release the foot brake and off you go. But be sure to take your picture before you descend or else you'll be too busy screaming with laughter all the way down.

Negril

Rick's Café

The Travel Channel called Rick's Café one of the best bars in the Caribbean, but social media fans will want to come for more than just the drinks. The cliff-side location offers an adrenaline-inducing cliff jump for the ultra brave. Everyone else can hang around till dusk and capture some of the best sunsets on the island.

Mayfield Falls

With two waterfalls, 21 natural pools, and an abundance of flora and fauna, Mayfield Falls defines the term exotic tropical getaway. Whether you choose to chase butterflies, relax in a natural river jacuzzi or swim through an underwater cave, there are plenty of Insta-worthy moments to be found here.

Port Antonio

Winnifred Beach

Whether you'd like to spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling or horseback riding, Winnifred Beach has you covered. Still haven't taken an iconic photo with a Red Stripe? There is plenty of beer and local cuisine here to help you update your foodie feed.

Blue Lagoon

Yes, this is THAT Blue Lagoon. Of course, if Brooke Shields had had Instagram and GPS coordinates, the film would have been quite different. The small lagoon, which has both fresh and salt water, is famed for the changing hues of the water, depending on the sun's setting and reflection throughout the day. Be sure to stay a while to catch the lagoon's many shades.

Planning to Instagram your own way through Jamaica? Visitors are encouraged to use the hashtag #FeelTheVibejamaica to share their memories.
