Tourism Australia Extends Walkabout Package

Tourism Australia's One Week Walkabout program is a seven-day, six-night vacation in one of Australia's eastern cities: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. One Week Walkabout packages are offered by Qantas Vacations and Qantas Airways and start at $699 for seven days (six nights). Air starts at $798 direct from LAX or San Francisco International Airport; a special deal only available until March 16. The land packages are based on double occupancy for travel in low season so travelers can chose their land package to suit their vacation schedule, and then book flights separately from the airfare deals to Australia on the market.
