As part of the Thai government’s Ministry of Commerce, Thai
Trade Center New York has announced its ‘Love Thai Food, Eat Thai Rice’ Campaign.
Partnering with 137 Pillar Residences, Suites Bangkok and V
Villas Hua Hin, the Thai Trade Center campaign is inviting consumers in the
U.S. to share their love of Thai cuisine on social media for a chance to visit
Thailand, a trip valued up to $ 5,000 USD.
"Recognizing the widespread love for Thai food among
Americans, we are excited to introduce Thai Hom Mali Rice from Thailand to the
U.S. market through our social media campaign, @EatThaiRice. This initiative
aims to reach new
audiences and educate them about the qualities and the unique
characteristics of various types of Thai rice" said Ketsuree Vijaranakorn,
Director of the Thai Trade Center in New York.
He added, "Thai cuisine, including Thai rice, holds
significant potential in the U.S. market. We hope that this campaign will
increase consumer awareness of the diverse and rich flavors of Thai food and
Thai rice."
The prize package includes:
- A trip for two to Thailand. (Winner and a
guest.)
- Airfare credit of $2,000 USD
- 2-night stay at 137 Pillars Suites and
Residences Bangkok & Exquisite Thai Dinner at Nimitr for two.
- Round trip Ground Transportation from Bangkok to
Hua Hin.
- 2- Night stay at V Villas Hua Hin with Thai
dinner for two.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be
exchanged for cash or an alternative prize
How to enter the social media contest:
- Enter now through July 28th, 2024
- Follow the official social media account @eatthairice on
Instagram & Facebook.
- On Facebook or Instagram, post a photo or video cooking a
Thai rice dish or an image/video of Thai rice while dining out at a Thai
restaurant. Include the hashtag #EatThaiRice in the caption for eligibility.
- Tag a friend so they can enter to win.
- Winners will be announced on Instagram and Facebook via
@EatThaiRice on August 1, 2024.
In addition to its social media campaign, Thai Trade Center
New York-engaged celebrity chef Daniel Green will showcase Thai Hom Mali Rice
on a TV segment with a Pineapple Fried Rice cooking
demonstration.
