SOAR Entertainment and Media proudly announces that Traveling With Denella: Juneteenth has been named the SilverWinner in the History Category at the 46th Annual Telly Awards, a prestigious honor recognizing excellence in video and television across all screens.
This powerful one-hour television special, which celebrates the legacy and importance of Juneteenth—Freedom Day—will air nationwide from May 31 to June 29, 2025, in 50+ U.S. television markets, including NBC affiliates in New York, Chicago, Dallas, and Seattle, reaching over 43 million U.S. TV households.

The Traveling With Denella: Juneteenth television special offers a rich, immersive storytelling experience that honors the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. It spotlights Galveston, Texas—the birthplace of Juneteenth—and other key cultural and historical cities and landmarks.
Now in its 46th year, the Telly Awards is judged by leaders from television networks, production companies, and digital platforms. This year’s winners include Pixar Animation Studios, NASA, MTV Entertainment Studios, Hearst Media, ESPN, and the LA Clippers, underscoring the significance of this achievement.
