As travelers begin to plan their vacations for 2019, the Disneyland Resort is enticing guests to visit the theme park and enjoy an array of adventures, festivals, shows, food, Disney character interactions and more.
To kick off the new year, visitors can experience the Get Your Ears On - A Mickey and Minnie Celebration at Disneyland starting January 18. With a new high-energy projection show dubbed Mickey's Mix Magic, guests can dance the night away with "DJ" Mickey.
On January 25, Mickey's Soundsational Parade also returns to Disneyland, and from January 22 through February 18, the theme park will celebrate the love of Minnie and Mickey for Valentine's month.
At Disney California Adventure, guests can ring in the Year of the Pig this Lunar New Year from January 25 through February 17 with a celebration of Asian cultures with beloved Disney characters and welcome another year of good fortune.
Disney California Adventure will also host the annual Food & Wine Festival from March 1 through April 23, 2019, offering travelers the chance to indulge in their favorite dishes and broadening their palettes with more than a dozen delicious Festival Marketplaces, featuring small plates, specialty wines and craft beers.
In 2019, Pixar Pier will welcome two additional attractions to complete the land: Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind and Jessie's Critter Carousel. The area also features the Incredicoaster, the Toy Story Mania! attraction and the Lamplight Lounge restaurant overlooking Paradise Bay.
For those planning a summer vacation to Disneyland, the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge land expansion will open in summer 2019. Visitors will be able to enjoy unique themed attractions, such as Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and more that will fully immerse them in the experience.
Also opening in 2019 will be Disneyland After Dark events, the Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar and Grill, Ballast Point brewery and more. With several anniversaries and festivities planned all year, now is the right time to book travel to the California theme park.
