Some of the greatest hip-hop and R&B artists in the world will descend on Riviera Maya in January for a series of concerts on the beach.
Dubbed 'Golden Sand,' the event is being handled by the production and technology company Pollen Presents, with the Barcelo Riviera Maya serving as the host hotel.
It will be held from January 12-16 and is being billed as a weekend of music, exploration, vacation and relaxation.
And the talent is not to be believed.
The featured performers include 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Kelly Rowland, Lil' Kim, Ludacris, Nelly, Sean Paul, Flo Rida, TLC and T-Pain.
In addition to the music, attendees can snorkel, soak up the sun at the Barcelo's 11 swimming pools, eat their way through more than a dozen restaurants across the Barcelo resort, get a massage, hike, play basketball or tennis, or, you know, just relax.
Activities like scuba diving classes, diving trips, jet ski excursions, deep-sea fishing and more can be booked through the Barcelo.
But the music is the big draw with a lineup for the ages, including New York hip-hop legend 50 Cent; TLC, the iconic group behind the hit songs "Waterfalls" and "Creep"; Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Nelly; Atlanta megastar and rapper/turned actor Ludacris; prolific Jamaican dancehall artist Sean Paul; Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland; Bronx hip-hop artist and music industry veteran Fat Joe, and more.
