The 2018 edition of Halloween Horror Nights is already shaping up to be one of the best in history, but the addition of a maze inspired by Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers has horror movie fans on the edge of their seats.
Starting September 14, the maze inspired by the iconic horror film will be coming to Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort. Based on John Carpenter's fourth film in the Halloween series, guests will once again be transported to Haddonfield, Illinois.
Michael Myers has escaped from Smith's Grove Sanitarium and is looking for revenge. Visitors to the Orlando and Hollywood parks will follow Myers as he escapes the mental hospital and relentlessly stalks his niece Jamie.
The maze will feature horrifying scares by Myers in his classic white mask and navy jumpsuit, with guests dodging his bloody knife at every turn. Guests will witness recognizable characters like psychiatrist Dr. Loomis as they try to escape the Haddonfield bloodbath.
Universal Studios also recently announced the classic horror movie Poltergeist would also be represented in a maze this year, joining other hit franchises, including Stranger Things, Chucky, Killer Klowns from Outer Space and more
The 2018 edition of Halloween Horror Nights starts on September 14 and runs on select nights through November 3. The event will feature 10 haunted houses, the most in the history.
