The 2018 edition of Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights was already shaping up to be one of the best, but the theme park has announced the addition of two new scare zones based on horror icons from the 1980s.
Prepare to be scared by Chucky and Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
For Universal Orlando guests visiting the Revenge of Chucky scare zone, they will be transported into a toy fair filled with diabolical twists on childhood toys from the past. After coming face-to-face with possessed toys, terrified patrons will have to deal with the world's deadliest doll.
As for the visitors brave enough to enter the Killer Klowns from Outer Space scare zone, they will smell the aroma of cotton candy, but soon realize the treats are spun from unsuspecting victims. Guests will try to escape the killer klowns or face the wrath of their ray guns, which will turn them into grotesque cotton candy snacks.
With the addition of Chucky and Killer Klowns from Outer Space, the scare zone lineup is complete. Universal previously announced three other original stories for Halloween Horror Nights, including Vamp 85: New Year's Eve, Twisted Tradition and The Harvest.
The 2018 edition of Universal's Halloween tradition will run for 34 select nights between September 14 and November 3. The events will also feature themed haunted houses, including Netflix's Stranger Things and Legendary Pictures' Trick 'r Treat.
In addition to the five scare zones, guests will be trick or treated to 10 haunted houses, the most in the history of Halloween Horror Nights, and one powerhouse live show. Vacation packages are on sale now for this year's festivities.
