If you want to get up close and personal with exotic animals in the Southeast U.S. in 2024, you won't even need to travel to Disney's Animal Kingdom.
A new African safari park experience is coming to Georgia just a short drive from Atlanta.
Organizers of this latest project say you can get that unique experience starting in April 2024. The Georgia Safari Conservation Park will be located about an hour from Atlanta.“We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Georgia Safari Conservation Park,” said Bill Kilmer, Partner of Georgia Safari Conservation Park.
“Our mission is not only to provide a thrilling and immersive safari experience for our visitors but also to foster a deep appreciation for the natural world and promote active involvement in conservation efforts through education, adventure and a commitment to sustainability.”There will be a variety of animals covering a whopping 530 acres. Visitors can spend the day at the park and have the option to stay overnight. The park has been 10 years in the making.Among the many highlights, the Giraffe Suite will overlook these majestic animals and will surely become a crowd favorite. The suite can accommodate up to four people but there'll be a two-night minimum and the cost is expected to be about $1,250 per night. The Luxury Safari Tents have two bedrooms and can accommodate up to four people at a cost of $790 per night. Plus, these accommodations also include a guided tour.Another option is the Honeymoon Hideaway for $590 a night.
There are also several options for drive-thru tours.
