Looking to enjoy a vacation during the holiday season?
Orlando is annually ranked as one of the top warm-weather destinations for winter travel.
Theme parks and resorts throughout the area pull out all the stops for the holidays, starting November 9 and running through New Year's Day.
Florida’s tourist hotspot is hosting several new holiday events and attractions for 2017, including the Sunset Seasons Greetings projection light show at Disney's Hollywood Studios; the transformation of Hogwarts into Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando; and events with Santa Claus and Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer at SeaWorld Orlando.
Each theme park is celebrating the holidays in different ways: At Walt Disney World, visitors will enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks spectacular at Disney's Hollywood Studios and a Candlelight Processional at Epcot.
At Universal Orlando, guests will usher in the holidays with the makeover of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, daily Macy's parades and the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular live show at Islands of Adventure.
SeaWorld Orlando will also transform its park into wintry, watery wonderland featuring live shows, a nativity event with live animals and meet-and-greets with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and his friends.
For travelers with younger children, the LEGOLAND Florida Resort will host its annual Christmas Bricktacular. Kids can enjoy a 30-foot-tall LEGO Christmas tree and pose for holiday pictures with a life-size LEGO Santa, reindeer and sleigh.

Anyone traveling to Orlando this winter will be looking for a place to stay, and the city's hotels and resorts will be ushering in the holiday season with as much excitement as the theme parks.
The Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World offers guests the chance to host a holiday party with Mickey and Minnie or Anna and Elsa from Frozen. Visitors staying in top suites even get a butler to help wrap holiday gifts, decorate the suite and arrange a hot cocoa and cookie-decorating party
At the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel, guests are treated to an indoor-snow fall, a 24-foot tall Christmas tree, a life-size chocolate holiday Santa scene and Christmas Eve services, including a fully-costumed elf who delivers milk and cookies to each room for a bedtime story.
Wherever travelers decided to visit or stay while in Orlando, the city has ample holiday options for every member of the family.
