Six Flags announced its largest-ever lineup of licensed horror attractions across its North American theme parks, including 11 new haunted mazes inspired by major horror franchises, including the Jason Universe, Final Destination, The Blair Witch Project and Diablo.
The new attractions will join returning favorites like The Conjuring Universe, SAW, Army of the Dead, The Strangers: Chapters 1 & 2 and Trick 'r Treat. In total, Six Flags will offer 29 licensed haunted attractions, along with 196 themed scare zones and live entertainment experiences.
Among the new additions is "JASON: Blood Reign," which will appear at SCarowinds, Kings Island’s Halloween Haunt and Six Flags Great Adventure's Fright Fest. Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Magic Mountain will introduce "Final Destination: Death’s Playground."
Other new attractions include "Blair Witch: No Signal" at Six Flags Great America and Dorney Park, and "DIABLO: The Infernal Path" at Kings Dominion and Cedar Point.
Six Flags is planning 448 Halloween-themed experiences across its portfolio, while 141 daytime events and activities will offer more family-friendly options, including trick-or-treating, pumpkin activities and interactive entertainment.
The Halloween events require a separate Haunted Attractions Pass in addition to regular park admission, but Six Flags offers single-evening and all-season options, plus an Express Pass for priority access.
