To celebrate the opening of Harry Potter and the Battle at
the Ministry at Universal Epic Universe on May 22, 2025, Universal Orlando
Resort is sharing a sneak peek inside the full-scale recreation of the British
Ministry of Magic.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will
take guests through the grand Ministry atrium, Dolores Umbridge’s office, other
departments and areas, before boarding omnidirectional lifts to attend Umbridge’s
trial.
Once inside the Ministry of Magic Atrium, visitors will
witness Ministry offices, a restored Fountain of Magical Brethren statue, the enchanted
weather ceiling, and more intricate details, as well as learning that Umbridge’s
trial is that day.
Travelers through the Harry Potter experience can also see
the empty Ministry Reception area and Umbridge’s Office, where they will meet
her elf, Higgledy. Universal revealed that designers focused on intricate
details to fully immerse guests in the Ministry.
When everyone is loaded onto the Magical Ministry Lifts, guests
will find themselves on a chase to catch Umbridge as she attempts to escape her
trial, all while dodging attacks from the Death Eaters and other creatures.
Additional areas guests will soar through in the British
Ministry include the Magical Archives, the Department of Magical Creatures, and
the Time Room.
Travelers planning to visit next year can purchase The
Wizarding World of Harry Potter Exclusive Vacation Package, which includes seven-night
hotel accommodations, a five-day theme park ticket that provides four days of
park-to-park access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of
Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe.
