The highly anticipated new Universal Kids Resort will officially open outside of Dallas in Frisco, Texas, on Wednesday, July 1.
Tickets, hotel packages and the theme park’s first annual pass option are on sale now.
Universal Destinations & Experiences' first-ever regional theme park specifically designed for kids will boast many highlights, including DreamWorks' Shrek’s Swamp, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, DreamWorks’ TrollsFest, DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar and the Isle of Curiosity featuring DreamWorks' Gabby's Dollhouse.
The unique resort experience is complemented by the 300-room Universal Kids Resort Hotel located at the entrance to the park. The colorful property will offer spacious rooms and family suites, diverse food options, an outdoor pool and plenty of other family-friendly amenities.
Before July's official opening, guests can purchase one- and two-day general admission tickets as well as the Universal Kids Resort Silver Annual Pass, providing one year of access to the park, though blackout dates apply.
What's more, pass options that include parking are also available and guests can book a "Create Your Own" Package to customize their experience with convenient "1.5-Day" admission tickets, hotel stays, flights and access to perks like Early Park Admission, resort-wide charging privilege and free delivery of purchased merchandise.
Travelers can also book all room types at the Universal Kids Resort Hotel for stays beginning Tuesday, June 30, including the Standard Queen, Deluxe Queen and Signature Queen rooms sleeping up to five guests, and the Family Suites sleeping up to six guests.
