Universal Studios Hollywood Begins Construction on Fast & Furious Roller Coaster

Universal Studios Hollywood announced that construction has started on the theme park’s new roller coaster based on the Fast & Furious film franchise.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art ride system created to provide guests with a dynamic Fast & Furious experience, this all-new roller coaster will benefit from Universal’s expertise in revolutionizing the development of thrill rides across the company’s theme park destinations.

In addition to bringing innovative and technological achievements never previously utilized by a Universal roller coaster, the ride will incorporate elements of Universal Pictures’ most-profitable and longest-running franchise into every component of the experience.

The ride will join Universal Hollywood’s slate of other groundbreaking attractions, including SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic World—The Ride and The Simpsons Ride.

The California theme park also offers behind-the-scenes Studio Tours, visits to Courthouse Square from the Back to the Future films and experiential attractions inspired by blockbuster movies.
