In a glamorous evening highlighting the biggest and brightest stars in tourism, the travel industry gathered at New York's Gotham Hall on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, to celebrate the 2018 Travvy Awards.
Considered the Oscars of the travel industry, the fourth annual Travvy Awards honored dozens of brands across a variety of categories, including destinations, hotels and resorts, cruise lines and tour operators.
While the travel industry hands out awards aplenty, the Travvys are in a category all their own, as the winners are selected by working travel agents who have direct knowledge about each and every category, company and organization nominated.
"Travel agents book millions of travelers a year," travAlliancemedia President and CEO Mark Murphy said, "giving them an insight into the best in travel, something that sets the Travvy's apart from every other award."

Attendees celebrated their accolades and were also entertained by the Range A Cappella Group, who may have stolen the show.
