The internet is a very big place and it takes quite a bit of time to search it. There are literally millions of travel blogs out there (at least 2.1 million according to Google). The good news is that we are going to sift through them and bring you a bunch of creative, awesome, engaging, active travel blogs that are worth you taking a look.
That Gay Backpacker
David is in his words: "a full time homosexual type who's a bit keen on travel." But he is much more than that. In an industry that is worth an estimated 60 billion dollars, he is riding the front of a wave that isn't going to crash anytime soon. His lists like, "The 21 Coolest Things To Do In Oaxaca" are great, the interviews entitled, "That Gay Guy" really give an insight on what it is like to be gay in a different country and how the community is treated.
The great thing is that he isn't just writing about LGBT destinations, clubs, etc. There are general travel posts, too. "Is it Even Possible to be Vegan in Mexico?" is a fine example of a story that sucked me in, regardless of my sexual orientation. Currently teaching English in Guatemala, David is exploring, learning and inventing and you can follow along with him. This is a blog to definitely check in with on a regular basis.
