Ensemble Travel Group has announced a partnership with New Zealand travel agency group, World Travellers. Ensemble began expanding in Australasia in 2016, and the new alliance was led by its Asia Pacific management team.
The new partnership leverages the power of Ensemble's amenity program, vacation portfolio, special benefits and savings for 35 of World Travellers' clients in New Zealand.
"Our expanding presence in Australia and New Zealand has been a strong focus of our global expansion over the last three years and this partnership reflects our successful growth in the region," stated David Harris, newly appointed CEO of Ensemble Travel Group. "It's an exciting step for both companies, which will now benefit from our existing relationships with suppliers across the globe as well as a suite of leading technology, marketing and luxury products."
The new partnership is clearly a win for both companies.
"We are really excited about this partnership that will unlock significant market advantages for World Travellers, our members and customers here in New Zealand," stated Dave Nicholson, Director of Sales for World Travellers. "Our network is a 100 percent locally owned cooperative company made up of highly successful like mined travel agency owner-operators, each with decades of experience."
The announcement also comes at the same time that Ensemble promoted Katy Muyt to the position of general manager for Ensemble Travel Group in Australia/New Zealand. Previously, Muyt was the senior director of sales and supplier relations. She will now focus her efforts on Ensemble's agent portal to provide members with better access to its Luxury Hotel & Resort Program, Preferred Suppliers, On-location Specialists and Digital Marketing tools as well as the release of the Australian version of Ensemble's luxury travel magazine, Extraordinary Experiences.
