Oasis Travel Network (OTN)-the independent contractor division of Smart Travel Group-welcomed Harvey Utech as its 200th New2Travel member.
Launched in 2015, the New2Travel program was designed by OTN to specifically guide and support new sellers of travel through a tailored curriculum and business set-up with ongoing support, ultimately transforming them into professional travel agents.

Each New2Travel member goes through an online curriculum, which is followed by a three-day in-person boot camp near OTN's Boca Raton, FL headquarters. They receive cruise booking technology training, customized training for their Signature Travel Network certification, destination specialist certifications, Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) training and more. Ongoing support includes social media assistance, implementation of a state-of-the-art marketing system, client database management and more.
"Prior to becoming the 200th New2Travel member, I ran a tour company with my wife and sister, which ultimately became a passion of mine," said Harvey Utech, OASIS Travel Network New2Travel member. "Unfortunately, we couldn't keep the business going because we didn't have the time or money to focus on the marketing aspect, so I moved on to other things. I was attracted to Oasis Travel Network because they provide the marketing tools and plans to members, really helping us be successful. I am excited to be back in the travel industry and to work with OTN to build my new business."

For $3,495, each member will receive a variety of benefits, including a website and email marketing set-up credit of $350, direct mail set-up credit of $150, a mailing credit of $500 and hotel, breakfast and lunch costs during the in-person boot camp.
"We strongly believe that this is the best program in the industry to help individuals start a prosperous travel business," said Bergin. Monthly payment plans are available, making a dream career in travel possible for almost anyone. After completing the New2Travel program, members are transitioned to OTN's Elite plan which includes the marketing and client management that all travel consultants need to become successful.
