Ponant and Signature Travel Network have entered into a preferred partnership agreement.
Alex Sharpe, CEO of Signature Travel Network welcomed Ponant as a preferred supplier.
"Expedition cruising is one of the fastest-growing segments of the luxury market and I know our members and their clients will enjoy working with and sailing onboard Ponant's growing fleet," said Sharpe.
The timing of the new relationship couldn't be better as Ponant celebrates its 30th anniversary and undergoes a historic expansion.
"This adds strength to our program of strategic growth, particularly in the American market, as we expand from five ships to twelve by 2021," said Edie Rodriguez, Ponant's Americas brand chairman.
"Our first Explorer ship, Le Laperouse, just launched last week, highlighting that we have the youngest fleet of ships in the luxury yacht expedition cruise space, concurrently with the most experience sailing through unchartered territories," Rodriguez added.
Ponant is looking forward to working with Signature, giving the organization's travelers the chance to enjoy exclusive privileges and complimentary benefits onboard.
"Ponant is proud to work with Signature as we showcase our remarkable itineraries and onboard amenities," said Rodriguez. "Our small ships can go to remote destinations where larger ships can't venture, resulting in life-changing adventures and experiences. This is what global luxury travelers crave but rarely find, especially at the high-end level. We are delighted to have our U.S.-based sales team work more closely in the field with Signature travel advisors to grow our business together."
Signature travel advisors will have plenty of new options for clients to enjoy as the cruise line has rolled out 27 new itineraries for winter 2019-2020.
