The AAA Diamond lists are growing in the first month of 2024, with two hotels and three restaurants being added to the list of AAA Four Diamond properties, known for their commitment to quality within the hospitality industry.
The two hotels to receive the AAA Four Diamond designations are The Palmetto Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina and The Junto Hotel in Columbus, Ohio.
The Palmetto Hotel is an eclectically designed hotel located in historic Charleston. It offers several different room configurations, including two king room options with private balconies overlooking Charleston’s historic buildings. Guests will enjoy daily continental breakfast, custom bikes, valet parking and laundry services during their stay.
The Junto Hotel in Columbus offers 198 rooms with a wealth of different accommodation options, including a bunk room perfect for families with children, a flat-style accommodation and an expansive 1,217-square-foot apartment with a kitchenette and dining area. The hotel also offers several dining areas, including a coffee shop and a rooftop bar.
The restaurants are Ostra in Boston, Saint Bibiana in Savannah, and Restaurant Memories in Cancun.
AAA Diamond lists are updated monthly and are chosen by Diamond Inspectors, which are unannounced, independent and in-person property inspectors. Four Diamond properties are classified as offering upscale amenities and fine dining.
The five new properties join the 1,750 Four Diamond hotels and 535 Four Diamond restaurants on the lists. By comparison, there are only 130 Five Diamond hotels and 60 Five Diamond restaurants in the world.
