Want to get sexy on vacation? The Original Group is bringing its Temptation brand to Punta Cana as part of a $70 million hotel project focused on the adult segment.
Original Group CEO Rodrigo de la Pena Segura told Reportur.com the company will begin building the hotels in the Dominican Republic in October, with construction expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
The hotel group also plans to add 100 rooms to its Desire brand, is analyzing other land options in Los Cabos, Mexico, and Cartagena, Colombia, and plans to open at least one hotel per year moving forward combining both brands.
Segura said the Original Group is focused on building the adult tourism niche with his brands across the Caribbean, just as other hotel companies build on the adventure, family and medical tourism industries.
“We have specialized, we have changed our hotels from a traditional hotel, to create new brands,” Segura told Reportur.com. “We are a group with over 35 years of experience in our destination, we are a Mexican company. Each of our products offers the environment for couples and singles looking to experience a new kind of fun, and though each is characterized by their individuality, the group sets common standards for all.”
With the Desire, Temptation and Premier brands, the Original Group is targeting travelers with income levels between $120-to-$190 thousand per year and who are 21 years or older, though their main market is people between 30-35 years old.
The company is targeting tourists from the United States, Europe and Canada.
Earlier this week, the Original Group announced it will be offering its first-ever topless Temptation Caribbean Cruise, departing from Tampa on February 13, 2020. Passengers on the adults-only cruise will be able to join in experiences such as theme nights, VIP performances, pool parties, shows by internationally-recognized DJs and more.
