AIC Hotel Group has expanded its partnership with Nobu Hospitality to include a third property, Nobu Hotel Chicago, which is scheduled to make its debut next year, said Frank Maduro, vice president of marketing for AIC Hotel Group, which develops and implements sales and marketing initiatives for resort owners in Florida, Mexico and Caribbean.
"We're officially opening up Nobu Hotel Chicago, which is a 100-room boutique hotel with a Nobu restaurant in 2019," he said. "It's going to be a fantastic product."
The property will join Nobu Hotel Miami and Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, which is slated to open in April 2019.
Nobu Hotel Chicago will be equipped with a 10,000-square-foot Nobu restaurant on the ground floor, as well as Nobu on the Roof, with an indoor and outdoor bar area overlooking Randolph Street's restaurant row.
The property will also feature a 3,630-square-foot fitness center with Technogym equipment, a spa and upward of 3,000 square feet of meetings pace
It will be "geared toward business travelers during the week" and vacationers interested long-weekend getaways, Maduro said.
For its part, the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos will include 103 suite and 97 guestrooms with bathtubs, soaking tubs and walk-in showers.
It will offer both EP rates and all-inclusive packages, including dining at the beachfront Nobu Restaurant and Bar.
In addition to the beachside Nobu Restaurant and Bar, the resort will also feature Malibu Farm, offering farm-to-table cuisine. Malibu Farm is a fixture Nobu Hotel Miami.
The three Nobu properties will appeal to travelers "who want lifestyle experiences and are used to the quality of Nobu restaurants," Maduro said, adding that the Los Cabos resort is now accepting reservations, which are selling briskly.
