Water slides, tunnels, and hanging bridges-oh my!
Children's World, one of the newest additions at Xcaret, is a special place for kids 12 and under.
Designed to be a place where kids can play and expend all their energy while exploring in a natural environment, Children's World offers everything from climbing nets to obstacles and labyrinths.
The Cenotes are yet another highlight at Children's World, allowing kids to splash around or go for a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters of a natural oasis.
For the even smaller ones, children under six years old, there's a wading pool, sandbox, and water jets designed just for this age group.
And did we mention the mini-aviary where kids can walk inside and be surrounded by colorful birds? Parents meanwhile can walk right next to their kids, but outside the enclose.
And not to be overlooked, Children's World also includes a place dedicated entirely to parents and their relaxation. The parent's rest area allows for lounging while keeping an eye on children as they come down the slides, swim in the wading pool or have fun in the sandbox.
Still, more amenities at Children's World include family bathrooms and dressing rooms and its own snack shop.
And once the family has fully explored Children's World, there are many more attractions at the Riviera Maya park that young children will love. Xcaret includes an aquarium, sea turtles, the beach, swimming in underground rivers and a spectacular Xcaret evening show.
