Belmond's Cap Juluca, a property that's aiming to lead a new era of beach-chic glamour on the island of Anguilla, is accepting reservations.

The resort had been undergoing renovations when Hurricane Irma hit the region last August.

A statement released by the company said the Cap Juluca is the first property to be fully reimagined as part of Belmond's ambitious growth strategy and is on schedule to welcome guests in November.

Located on the secluded cove of Maundays Bay, the 96-room Cap Juluca will ultimately receive $121 million in renovations, including the addition of 25 new beachfront villas.

The property will be focused on offering authentic escapes that connect guests with nature and celebrate local culture.

Among the resort's amenities will be a sea view infinity-edge pool, rustic beach bar and various elegant restaurants. The grounds meanwhile will be filled with colorful botanicals and indigenous plants.

Yet another enticing detail, the newly refurbished Anguilla property will also include a disappearing spa that is designed to seamlessly blend into the landscape.

"Majestically perched on the property's private headland, nestled in manicured gardens and offering panoramic views of crystal blue waters is the new spa and fitness center," the company stated in its release. "It is the only spa of its kind on the island to offer intimate access to nature away from resort life. A place to exercise, relax and unwind, the spa will boast a yoga pavilion, gym and seven all-suite treatment villas-with private terraces and seating by the sea."

The Belmond Cap Juluca also intends to be the heart of the island's diverse culinary offerings. It will champion locally sourced seafood, freshly prepared healthy Caribbean and Anguillan cuisine and international flavors.

The newly refreshed guest rooms, meanwhile, all have large private verandas and balconies. Many of the rooms also feature large bathrooms overlooking walled botanical courtyards, complete with private seating areas. There's also three- and five-bedroom villas offering more space for families or groups.

More details about the resort, including its culinary, well-being and on-resort activities, are expected to be released as they become available.
