BlueBay Hotels, BlueBay Hotels, the eighth Spanish hotel company by international presence and the 10th largest hotel group regarding hotel rooms, has added the Hotel BlueBay Grand Punta Cana(*****) to its portfolio of hotels in the Dominican Republic. The Spanish company already had two establishments in the Dominican Republic: BlueBay Villas Doradas (****) and Bellevue Dominican Bay (****).
BlueBay Grand Punta Cana has 156 luxury suites and is located in the eastern part of the island, one of the most popular tourist regions in the Caribbean due to its beautiful natural environment. The Spanish hotel chain continues to strengthen its presence in the Caribbean with this new addition to its portfolio, where, it also has the Blue Diamond Boutique Hotel (5* Grand Luxury) and the BlueBay Grand Esmeralda (5*), in the Riviera Maya.
"We know the Dominican Republic because we already have two hotels there, although the opening of a new hotel in Punta Cana, which is one of the most popular destinations in the area for tourists, means strengthening and complementing our offer in sun and beach tourism by incorporating this five-star hotel," says Jamal Satli Iglesias, Chairman of BlueBay Hotels.
For his part, BlueBay Hotels CEO, Ramón Hernández, says that "we've already added two hotels in Colombia and Ecuador this year, and with this hotel we're continuing with our expansion plan in the American continent, and we'll continue to examine new opportunities for growth in the area in the coming months".
About Hotel BlueBay Grand Punta Cana (*****)
The hotel is located in Cabeza de Toro, a traditional fishing village on the east of the island, just 15 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport. It's an idyllic setting where in addition to the white sandy beaches, coconut palms and turquoise waters, visitors can also enjoy a wide range of water sports, golf (La Cana Golf Club), nature parks (Manati Park) and theme parks (Bavaro Adventure Park).
The beachfront hotel has 156 luxurious suites, all decorated in keeping with the surrounding natural environment. Guests can choose between five different types of accommodation: the junior suite (40m2), the family suites with two or three bedrooms (144 and 165m2 respectively), 4 Master Suites (48m2) and the Penthouse suite with three bedrooms and stunning views (165m2).
A gym and a BlueBay Spa, where guests can enjoy a sauna, a wide range of spa and beauty treatments, and two large outdoor swimming pools complete the leisure and relaxation offer.
Regardinggastronomy, customers can choose between international cuisine, grill and creative Mediterranean cuisine at La Caracola, Blue Wave Restaurant & Grill and Sur le Mer restaurants, respectively. Local food and a selection of cocktails and drinks can also be enjoyed at Blue Wave Bar, Zumbar and the On The Rocks Bar&Lounge. BlueBay Hotels also plans to add two new specialty restaurants to expand the gastronomic offer in the coming months.
