A good night's sleep is one of the hardest things to come by when traveling. Whether in the sky or inside of a hotel room, weary travelers covet the slumber they often get at home in their own beds.
In an effort to bring travelers some relief from the restlessness, Delta Air Lines and Marriott International's Westin Hotels & Resorts are expanding their partnership with a new sleep-enhancing in-flight amenity and a hotel package built around getting some much-needed shut-eye.
Starting next month, Delta will begin rolling out the Westin Heavenly In-Flight Blanket for passengers in First Class.
The new blanket is based on the signature bed that can be found inside of Westin's guestrooms and was developed with the help of customer feedback.
Once on the ground, travelers will be able to book the Sleep Well package from Westin.
Highlights of the package include late check-out when available so you can sleep in, a nightly credit for the Westin Sleep Well Menu, a $100 credit for a spa treatment and Sleep Well Lavender Balm.

Launched earlier this year, Westin's Sleep Well Menu is available round-the-clock and features ingredients and meals designed to promote a restful night's sleep. Menu items include grilled wild salmon with walnut quinoa, a micro chopped turkey salad and whole grain crackers with peanut butter, among others.
Meanwhile, the spa treatment is good for an in-room treatment or a session at the hotel spa, depending on availability.
Much like the Westin Sleep Well Menu, Westin's lavender balm is designed to ease tension and foster quality sleep.
To commemorate the busiest travel month of the year, guests who book the package for the month of November will receive a custom microfiber sleep mask and the new Westin in-flight blanket.
The package starts at $189 and is available at dozens of Westin properties throughout the U.S. and Canada.
