Elite Island Resorts, a leading Caribbean resort collection known for all-inclusive beachfront experiences across Antigua, Barbados and Panama, has appointed Melissa Alexander as Director of Group Sales. In her new role, Alexander will lead the strategic development and execution of group sales initiatives, focusing on expanding meetings, incentives, retreats, celebrations, and leisure group business while strengthening relationships with travel advisors, meeting planners, and industry partners.
With more than 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality and travel sales, Alexander joins Elite Island Resorts to help drive the company’s continued growth across the group, incentive, and luxury leisure segments. In her new role, she will focus on expanding strategic partnerships, increasing market share in key North American markets, and developing new programs and initiatives designed to strengthen revenue performance and elevate brand visibility across the portfolio. She will also play a key role in growing Elite’s meetings and incentive business while supporting long-term sales and distribution strategies for the company’s Caribbean resorts.

Prior to joining Elite Island Resorts, Alexander held leadership roles with several recognized hospitality brands throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, including Atlantis Paradise Island, Goldwynn Resorts & Residences, Hacienda AltaGracia, Auberge Resorts Collection, Apple Leisure Group, and Prana Maya Island Resort. Throughout her career, she has led successful sales and marketing initiatives, cultivated strong relationships across the travel trade community, and contributed to revenue growth and brand expansion in competitive luxury markets.
