Earlier this year, Mexican hotel operator Posadas debuted a new lineup of more than two dozen curated experiences, aimed at connecting guests at its resort properties with local culture and regional traditions. The programs, all hand-selected, are called Fiesta Americana Travelty Experiences, and are part of the company’s commitment to bringing the essence of memorable moments into the vacation experience.
“Delivering remarkable experiences beyond top-tier accommodations is fundamental to Posadas. With these new experiences, we are not only continuing this legacy, but actively bringing the essence of authentic, memorable moments that align with lifestyles from all walks of life. This next chapter is about expanding unforgettable journeys designed with care that ultimately redefine the value of hospitality,” explained Enrique Calderón, Posadas’ Vice President of Operations.
• Midnight Tales takes guests off the resort grounds to some iconic locations that are rarely on conventional itineraries. Expert guides focus on history, architecture, local crafts, legends, and culture. The tour ends with a signature cocktail that has a special connection to the sights experienced.
• Sunset Suite Sessions are intimate parties for select guests in a private hotel suite, with the colorful twilight sky providing a background. The resident DJ sets the tone for the evening, while servers bring specially crafted cocktails to guests.
• Living Canvas lets guests use their skin as the canvas for a fun, immersive art experience. Ideal for couples, groups, or families, this experience allows guests to use their creativity for a memorable program.
• Camera Ready provides professional content creation for guests, where a full creative team directs and captures them in video and in still photos. The concept is that the guest is a jet setting star, and this theatrical experience gives them plenty of professionally developed and edited content to post to social media as they wish.
• Our Private Sky takes advantage of a local astronomer and a deluxe telescope, to give guests an in-depth tour of the nighttime sky—constellations, star clusters, planets, the moon, and more. Add in an elegant starlit picnic and this is a wonderful combination of gastronomy and science that guests will enjoy.
• The Harvest Ritual is an in-depth of wine tasting, set up in a special resort location. A sommelier guides participants through each wine by explaining its story: the region it comes from, specifics of the terroir, the character of the wine. A food pairing is included.
