First Look at Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres Ahead of Opening

The luxury adults-only Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres resort is set to start welcoming guests to the all-inclusive on February 12, 2025.

The property is the sixth Excellence Resorts property to open in the Caribbean and Mexico, and the ninth for The Excellence Collection overall. Located within a double-gated resort community in Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the resort will feature seven pools, spacious suites ranging from 807-1,600 square feet, an on-site spa and a large selection of daily activities to ensure travelers can unwind, recharge and have fun all day long.

Suites offer a variety of configurations offering two-story rooftop terraces, swim-up pool access, private plunge pools and breathtaking ocean views. Each suite, regardless of category, will feature full marble baths, rain showers and Jacuzzis. Those who upgrade to the Excellence Club can enjoy access to a private pool, beach area and restaurants, among other amenities.

Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres will provide sixteen different dining and drinking concepts for guests to indulge, from Mexican cuisine to a Greek and Lebanese restaurant. Guests can savor chocolate at Kakao, a must-visit for all chocolate lovers.

The resort will also provide nearly 4,000-square-feet of indoor and outdoor event space for weddings, vow renewals and corporate events.
