Designed to offer guests a challenging but fun way of staying in shape while on holiday, the program provides guests the chance to kick their workouts up a notch while simultaneously enjoying some of the world's best locales.
Get Your Fit On
All classes are taught by professional fitness instructors. Guests are encouraged to chat with them prior to class so alternate moves or exercises can be incorporated for those who have injuries.
Among the activities offered are:
Bootcamp
-Burn off that piña colada (and then some) with the newest class, which combines TRX, kickboxing, physical strength and conditioning, Russian weights, athletic preparation, abs, cardio and stretching.
TRX and Russian Weights
-Thirty minutes of TRX strength training (upper and lower body, plus abs) with another 30 minutes of athletic training (resistance bands, Russian weights, bars, dumbbells and body exercises) means you can have your cake and eat it too.
Kickboxing
-Become the ninja you always wanted to be in this 60-minute class. The first half takes guests through a kickboxing workout, while the second half focuses on calisthenics, cardio, HIIT and abs.
Outdoor Running
-Warm up with 10 minutes of dynamic stretching before hitting the trails. Guests will follow a 5k run around the resort while taking in the view and letting go of their tension. The class concludes with 10 minutes each of abs and elastic stretching.
Spinning
-Get ready to pump up the volume in this dynamic class. Each spin class offers 10 minutes of dynamic stretching, 30 minutes of interval spinning and 10 minutes of abs and elastic stretching, respectively.
Yoga
-Ohhhmmmm. Take a break from the daily grind with an hour of exercise taken from Vinyasa Flow and influenced by Ashtanga, Hatha and Lyengar practices. It is guaranteed to make your stress wash away.
Pilates and Stretches
-This class helps guests focus on stabilizing their core muscles, as well as their glutes and thighs. This series of exercises will tone, stretch and strengthen muscles and put you well on your way to that sculpted body you've always dreamed of.
Aquafit
-This 30-minute workout is the Renaissance man of fitness, offering guests a little of everything from toning exercises and abs to cardio and kickboxing, all while taking advantage of water resistance. Bonus points: you'll never be far from your sun lounger.
Zumba Fit
-This cardio dance class has staying power, and with moves inspired by various Latin American dances, not only will guests get a workout, but they might learn a few new moves in the process.
