IHG Hotels & Resorts celebrated the opening of its design-forward new hotel in Grand Cayman, Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman, on May 8.
The hotel offers 288 rooms along the island’s famed Seven Mile Beach. Aligned with the brand’s destination-forward approach, Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman is inspired by the local culture and experiences available on the island, and its design includes colors taken from the environment, nods to the island’s maritime history and curating artwork from local artists.

It’s already won the Cayman Islands Hotel Architecture Award and the Cayman Islands New Hotel Construction and Design Award for 2023-2024. New Orleans-based architecture and interior design firm, Farouki Farouki, designed the resort.
The hotel offers 288 guest rooms, including 38 suites, offering adjoining standard room options for groups up to 10 guests, as well as Family Suites, which offer king beds, bunk beds, two bathrooms and more space. The Presidential Suite is the hotel’s height of luxury, offering a dedicated bedroom and living space, a powder room and full bathroom, a refrigerator, stocked minibar and outdoor living space.

Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman offers several dining and drinking concepts, including a food hall, rotating exhibition kitchen and a ninth-floor rooftop lounge. Some highlights include food hall, which offers California-inspired cuisine, an Asian food and sushi counter called Milkberry and global fare at Rasa. Pom Pom, the ninth-floor lounge, offers South American-inspired dishes and cocktails in a rooftop garden oasis.
Guests will enjoy plenty of amenities at the hotel, including two swimming pools—one for families and one for adults only—beachside service on Seven Mile Beach as part of the resort fee, including towels, chairs and umbrellas, a 24-hour fitness center and outdoor yoga classes.

Meetings, weddings and other events can be held and catered at the hotel, which offers over 7,500 square feet of space. The Azure Ballroom offers the biggest space for weddings and large events, while smaller meeting and boardrooms offer more intimate events spaces.
