Hyatt's Unbound Collection is on track to significantly expand its footprint in Europe over the coming years.
The company announced today two hotels in Europe will join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt-the Great Scotland Yard Hotel in London and the Nish Palas in Istanbul.
By 2019, even more, European properties will be added, among them the iconic Hotel Martinez in Cannes, the Parisi Udvar in Budapest and the recently renovated Hotel du Louvre in Paris.
"The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand offers tremendous potential for growth in the European market. The brand allows new hotel owners to explore opportunities with us," Peter Norman, senior vice president, acquisitions and development, Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME) and Southwest Asia, said in a statement.
"This brand enables us to team up with new owners and developers and furthers the foundation they've developed with their individual hotel brands," Norman added. "We also know guests are increasingly seeking authentic and one-of-a-kind experiences and have a desire to stay at properties that have a story to tell while creating new stories of their own and The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand caters to this demand."
Created in 2016, The Unbound Collection is a group of independent properties that range from new and existing upper-upscale and luxury hotels to historic urban gems, contemporary trend-setters, boutique properties and private home accommodations
One of the themes uniting the properties is their focus on creating story-worthy and shareable experiences for the modern traveler. This is accomplished by maintaining and capitalizing on what makes each property unique, whether it's an exclusive location, famous architecture and design or award-winning dining offerings.
While maximizing individual character and charm, the hotels in The Unbound Collection also still provide guests with Hyatt's customer loyalty program and trusted quality.
