Jumby Bay Island has joined luxury owner-operator Oetker Collection.
Germany-based Oetker will manage the 40-room private island resort as well as its 50 villa and estate home rentals, it announced Thursday.
Located two miles from Antigua, Jumby Bay Island spans 300 acres and boasts a trio of white sand beaches, multiple restaurants, spa and fitness facilities, pools and tennis courts, along with an array of watersports offerings.

The villas and estates offer up to nine rooms and most come with direct private beach access.
The property, formerly a Rosewood resort, is scheduled to reopen for the 2017-18 season on October 9.
"Since the inception of Oetker Collection, we have grown our hotel portfolio with carefully chosen resorts and city hotels, each deserving of the 'Masterpiece' title," said Oetker Collection CEO, Frank Marrenbach, in a statement. "Today, I am delighted to announce our expansion with a second Masterpiece in the Caribbean: Jumby Bay Island."
"This private island paradise is a truly special place, with 300-acres of manicured landscape surrounded by white sandy beaches and turquoise waters," Marrenbach added. "As of October 9, guests will experience Oetker Collection's highest standards of quality service to which they are accustomed, and can rest assured that our team of hoteliers will offer them quite a unique sense of place."

Jumby Bay Island represents Oetker Collection's 10th property and joins Eden Rock-St Barths as the brand's second in the Caribbean.
