Following eight months of renovation and transformation, the JW Marriott Seoul is officially reopened.

The property, which originally debuted in 2000, was Marriott International's first luxury offering in Korea. The centrally located hotel is in Seoul's Gangnam district.

"The relaunch of JW Marriott Seoul signifies an exciting milestone for the JW Marriott brand," said Mitzi Gaskins, vice president and global brand manager, JW Marriott. "We are thrilled to reintroduce JW Marriott Seoul to both domestic and international travelers and provide them with the highest level of luxury service and amenities in this captivating city."

The 379-room property includes two multi-level penthouses and 32 suites. South Korean interior design firm KESSON was tapped to revamp each guestroom to embody a contemporary ambiance with a sophisticated design, featuring warm grey and taupe palettes accompanied by a photo wall displaying the art of local artist Seungsang Park.

Public spaces, meanwhile, were reimagined by French interior designer Bruno Moinard of AGENCY 4BI. The new look throughout the property was inspired by South Korea's modern aesthetic, while also aiming to be warm and welcoming.

JW Marriott Seoul's seven culinary outlets are designed to appeal to all guests tastes and range from casual chic to fine dining options.

The Margaux Grillshowcases an extensive range of dishes, including premier seafood and steak options. Diners can pair their meal with a glass from the restaurant's impressive list of 1,400 fine wines - one of the most extensive collections in Seoul.

Tamayura, the hotel's authentic Japanese restaurant, presents a traditional Kaiseki menu comprised of Edomae-style sushi and features a Western-style teppanyaki counter and authentic tea bar.

Flavorsis the Seoul property's buffet-style restaurant offering a selection of flavors from around the world, in combination with interactive live stations featuring master chefs.

On the eighth floor, The Lounge features a sophisticated setting with an opulent afternoon tea curated by Michelin star restaurant consultant, Alan Yau.

The hotel's prominent bar, MOBO Bar offers exclusive wines and inspirational cocktails crafted by the top mixologists with freshly picked local Korean ingredients.

And finally, Café One features specialty Italian coffee and revitalizing espresso drinks while Patisserie serves freshly baked, delicious pastries and desserts.

JW Marriott Seoul also features a new Fitness Club that takes wellness to the next level with state-of-the-art professional exercise equipment, an 85-meter jogging track, indoor golf zone, squash court, basketball court, swimming pool, scuba diving pool, jacuzzi, cabanas, and sauna.

There are also special areas designated for guests interested in well-being practices such as Ayurvedic remedies, meditation, and healing.
