The Knickerbocker Hotel announced the appointment of its domestic and international sales and marketing agencies today ahead of its summer debut.
The luxury lifestyle hotel will partner with New York-based hospitality sales and consulting firm Bennett Mercado, as well as UK-based sales and marketing agencies TM Marketing & Communication and Just the Letter B.
Bennett Mercado was formed by Cheryl Bennett and Beatrice Mercado in 2013. The duo formerly worked for The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, where they helped develop the brand's travel agency program, STARS.
TM Marketing & Communication was formed in 2009. The bespoke provider specifically deals with luxury boutique hotels.
Just the Letter B is led by Henriette Attard, who has been involved in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions (MICE) sector for almost two decades.
"We have carefully selected each of our partners based on their leadership in the luxury hospitality and travel industry, as well as their understanding of our vision and passion for promoting The Knickerbocker," said Jeff David, Managing Director of The Knickerbocker. "We're pleased and honored to be working with such well-respected professionals, and are confident that their contributions will maximize the hotel's penetration in key feeder markets, both domestically and abroad."
The Knickerbocker Hotel is located on the southeast corner of 42nd Street overlooking Times Square, between Broadway and Bryant Park. It's owned by FelCor Lodging Trust, and was recently admitted into the roster of "The Leading Hotels of the World."
